Hi! I'm Nora Hennessy...

...my mom put me in musical theatre when I was 4 and I guess it stuck!  I come from a family of musicians and spent my childhood playing "band" in lieu of "house". I think that stickers make everything better! I’m a Midwesterner born and raised: I love ranch, I love Steak n’ Shake, and I will say “ohp” if I bump into something or someone.

After growing up in Columbia, Missouri, I moved to Springfield to study Musical Theatre at Missouri State University and graduated with a BFA in May 2018.  During the summer, I've performed at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, MO; and Maples Repertory Theatre in Macon, MO.  I've also had the pleasure of teaching young performers at the TRYPS Theatre Institute at Stephens College, MRT, and as the 2019 Spring Guest Artist at Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy. Currently based in Kansas City, MO, I've taught at The Coterie & MTH at Crown Center, and kicked off the new year with a Creative Drama class at KCYA. I had a blast in MTH's production of Oklahoma and was thrilled to be back for their Spectacular Christmas Show! Working with young artists is one of my favorite things and my wildest dream would be to have my own show on PBS Kids!
